Discover your Phillip Island Community Hospital during Community Tour Day

News

This is your invitation to see behind the scenes at the Phillip Island Community Hospital in Cowes.

Bass Coast Health (BCH) operates the Community Hospital and is holding a Community Tour Day on Saturday 13 December.

From 11am-3pm, small tours will offer guests the opportunity to learn about the new Urgent Care Centre, Radiology and Pathology, and also the chance to see the new Operating Theatres and Chemotherapy/Dialysis area.

Urgent Care Centre, Radiology and Pathology are already providing care to the public, while the Chemotherapy/Dialysis area and Operating Theatres are due to open in early 2026.

BCH Interim CEO Simone Alexander encouraged the community to take advantage of this rare opportunity.

“BCH, along with the residents and visitors of Phillip Island, was excited to see the first services in the new Community Hospital start in June this year. The response has been positive and we anticipate the community will also appreciate the next round of services,” she said.

“Here’s your chance to see inside the Operating Theatres and Chemotherapy/Haemodialysis area before they open.”

Tours must be booked and numbers are limited, so early booking is encouraged to ensure you don’t miss out. To book, go to https://events.humanitix.com/host/basscoasthealth
