Bass Coast Health

Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the sub-regional public health service for the Bass Coast and South Gippsland shires.

As a growing health service, we provide a range of hospital and community-based care. These services are centred on inpatient and out-patient services at Wonthaggi Hospital, community nursing at San Remo, and our Phillip Island Health Hub at Cowes, which offers an Urgent Care Centre, allied health services, pathology and more.

We also offer an expansive range of obstetrics and surgical services, cancer treatment and radiology, and appointments with an extensive range of visiting specialists at Wonthaggi and Cowes.

We are accredited by the Australian Council on Health Care Standards (ACHS), are continuing to expand Wonthaggi Hospital and the new Phillip Island Community Hospital is under construction. We will continue to grow to meet the healthcare needs of our rapidly expanding population.
