Volunteers help to keep Bass Coast healthy

News

Bass Coast Health (BCH) Board of Directors, CEO, Executives and Staff truly value our wonderful Volunteer Team.

We thank our Volunteers every day for their dedication which helps our community access public healthcare. It’s also a very fitting time to acknowledge their efforts and say thank you during National Volunteer Week.

Our Volunteers contribute to BCH in many ways, delivering valuable services for our community. Their adaptability and resilience during the recent COVID years was truly incredible and they have found ways to support BCH throughout the past few years that improve patient outcomes.

Our staff and community are hugely indebted to our Volunteers who have contributed to Transport Driving, Administration, Wayfinding, Aged Care visiting, Gardening, Ward Visiting, Car Washing, Consumer Advisory Committees, Auxiliaries, Volunteer Concierge and so many other activities that have helped our staff and our community.

There is something very special about people who want to devote their spare time to helping others. Every volunteer makes a massive difference and we are truly grateful for their skill, expertise and passion in building a strong sub-regional service.
