Student Placements

Student Introduction

Bayside Health (Bass Coast) hosts students across a wide range of inpatient and community-based settings, supporting an expanding mix of disciplines including nursing, midwifery, allied health, medicine, health information, community services, and others. Student placements are coordinated through Placeright, a Department of Health and Human Services initiative that promotes transparent and equitable allocation of clinical placements between education providers and clinical placement partners.

Undergraduate Coordinators, Clinical Support Nurses, and Allied Health Clinical Educators, among others, are employed within the Learning and Development (L&D) Team. Together, they coordinate and oversee all undergraduate student placements and provide ongoing support to students in the clinical setting.
