Student Placements
Student Introduction
Bass Coast Health hosts undergraduate nursing, midwifery, medical and allied health students. Placements are organised via Placeright a Department of Health & Human Services initiative which enables Education Providers and Clinical Placement Providers to allocate students in a transparent, open process.
An Undergraduate Coordinator, Clinical Support Nurses, Clinical Development Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist and administration support, are employed within the L&D Team and are responsible for coordination and oversight of all undergraduate student placements and provision of support to students within the clinical environment.
Undergraduate student placements are available within a wide range of inpatient and community teams with an ever-expanding discipline list within nursing, allied health, medicine, health information and community services.
